Bonaroo Tattoo aftercare instructions. Follow these instructions carefully and completely in order to insure the best healing conditions for your new tattoo. While using H2Ocean, DO NOT use any other aftercare products during the healing process. 1. Remove bandage after 1 but no longer than 3 hours. Do not re-bandage your tattoo. 2. After removing the bandage you will need to wash your new tattoo thoroughly to remove any ointments or petroleum based products from the area. (Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo.) Don't use a wash cloth or anything abrasive on the tattoo, then pat the tattoo dry with a paper towel. 3. Apply a small amount of Ocean Care Cream to the tattoo with clean hands 3-5 times a day for up to 2 weeks. (Be sure to apply Ocean Care Cream before bed to ensure moisture for the duration of the night.) 4. After 2-3 days switch over to using the Ocean Foam to complete the healing process. Gently apply Ocean Foam with your clean fingertips 3-5 times a day for up to 2 weeks. (The cream will allow the tattoo to ooze and the foam will seal the tattoo to help lock in all the ink.) While using H2Ocean, DO NOT use any other aftercare products during the healing process. 6. Wash your tattoo once a day while in the shower. 7. Do not pick or scratch your tattoo. 8. Avoid hot tubs, swimming pools, rivers, lakes, the ocean or submersion (soaking) of any kind during the healing process. 9. Avoid direct sunlight or tanning beds for a few weeks. Definitely avoid tanning oils, lotions and sand. 10. Avoid tight fitting clothes which might irritate a new tattoo (especially nylons.) In the unlikely event your tattoo is showing clear signs and symptoms of an infection such as excessive swelling, tenderness and or discharging puss you should seek medical attention.
